This company, Midland Credit Management, is listed on my Transunion Credit Report, as a company with which I have recently done business. In truth and in fact, I have never heard of this company and certainly have not done business with it.

As best as I can interpret the Transunion report I am being charged, or have allegedly committed to pay, $645. For what, I have no idea. In any event, this is a disputed and fraudulent matter!!!

More specifically, the alert I received this date gives a Business Name of Midland Credit Management and seems to cryptically state that the account was opened on 02/20/2009. Again, this is bizarre if not fraudulent.

file a ftc fraud complaint and then send a copy of that complaint to all 3 credit bureaus and the company itself demanding that they remove the account from your credit report and that you are instructing them that the account is not yoursand if they insist that the name and address matchesit is then identity theft since you did not do any business with the company and will not beresponsible for any accounts created fraudulantly even if they did use your correct name and other information and that is what identity thieves do

make sure that you keep copies of all things you send including proof that you sent them
