#1 - When he calls you, don't fall for giving him the last four numbers of your Social Security Number, when he either asks or gives you four numbers that aren't yours!.
#2 - Do ask him for his address, manager's name, phone number'. You will likely get hung up on;.
#3 - If you're really concerned, look up Midland Credit Management's phone number and call them during normal business hours.. You will probably find they have no record of ever calling you or trying to collect money from you". Any legit collection agency should be willing to provide you will contact information so that you can call back after confirming he is who claims to be'.
DON'T FALL FOR THE SCAM PEOPLE! The person calling sounds like he's overseas, maybe in India or some other country! 129a86e

5. Written by No Way Jose' on February 1, 2012 from atlanta, georgia, US I just recieved a call from this Lawyer claiming that my wife had an outstanding bill from T-Mobile for $862.26 back in 2007 and the account was sent to his office to collect a debt. He Claimed that his name was Mark Cruse and his call back number was 1-800-265-8825. This is where I caught his SCAM, I told him, my wife has never had a contract phone and that the T-Mobile was prepaid. He immediately tried to change phone companies (lol) and then I said, "this is a SCAM and you are being recorded. He immediately hung up the phone. If you recieve any information from Midland Credit Management, hang up the phone because this is definitely a SCAM.

8. Written by Upset Consumer on September 21, 2011 from chicago, illinois, US TOTAL SCAM!!! We received a letter from Midland saying that we owe almost $3,000 to T-Mobile. We don't even have T-Mobile nor have we ever had T-Mobile. In addition, they send a letter, but there is no telephone number on the letter to call and tell them that they obviously sent the letter in error. Beware! Total scam.
9. Written by James on August 25, 2011 from honolulu, hawaii, US Hey Mark, how long have you been working for them? They are a scam! They've sent me letters saying I owe them money for a credit card debt that goes back to 2008; even though I never had a credit card back then. How is that possible? Then I ask for validation, a simple task, and they can't even follow through with that. How do you expect me to take you seriously when you can't even spell correctly? Yeah, sure they're not a scam, buddy.
