received a letter from American Mediation in St. Augustine,FL. saying they'd like me to sign a paper to give them power of attorney authorization in a civil case between me & Midland. It states that American Mediation is not associated with Midland & that I will soon be served a summons from Midland & for "a small fee" they'd like to represent me. I have never received anything from Midland themselves regarding a civil suit. How can Midland have a case against someone without any notification? I turned this letter from American Mediation over to The Attny. General & Dept. of Consumer Arffairs.

They have harrased me over a 7yr old dept. IL were I live has a 5 yr statue on open ended accounts. They are trying to collect on something I reached an agreement with the orginal creditor on. I told MCM to scratch my butt and reported them to the FTC and to IL Attorney Generals office and to the Better Bussiness Bureau which I encourage everyone to do. This company is nothing but crooks. When I was given the whole arbitation line from them I told them I would love to see them in court and that I only had an agreement over binding arbitration with the orginal creditor. Dont pay them a dime, dont try to deal with them. They are crooks. Whatever damage on your credit report is allready done.
